Exhaustion and anger

Yeah, got both of those going on today. I'm normally pretty even-tempered, and y'all know this by now. Not a lot can get me so hot that I'm ready to clobber someone with a 2x4 upside the head. After last night, I'm making me a trip in to work a tiny bit early, so I can join what is likely to be the freaking parade into HR about last night. We didn't get off until nearly 330AM. Okay, so I clocked out at 325AM, but it's close enough for jazz. And just WHY did we work so late, considering we are supposed to be out of there at 3AM at the latest during the week, so the cleaning crew can get in and clean everything up for first shift.

That didn't happen. The department that hangs the birds up in shackles so the legs can be cut off, called rehang, was done at 130AM. THEY went home. WE should have then been dumping totes like crazy, so WE could go home more or less at a reasonable hour. But noooo. I'm not sure which, either we had jack drivers but no pallet jacks, or jacks but no drivers. We need both to move totes of birds into position to be dumped to go to the lines to have the last of the disassembly process happen. For TWENTY MINUTES at the least, we were missing one or the other and got next to nothing done. I am freaking exhausted, and so angry I'm chewing boards and spitting toothpicks.

So if I'm lucky, I'll get a stop done at the PO to drop off the box to Mom and Amber, but I'm too tired to make the trip to Harrison to drop off a package at the UPS Store (it's prepaid by the recipient, so I just have to finish putting it together and get it to the dropoff), and I MAY get those seeds planted that I wanted to get done yesterday and didn't. Or maybe not. Once this stuff is done, I may go back to bed for a couple of hours and nap to make up for what I didn't get last night if I can doze off.

Hugs, all ... time to find books and get done what I can.
