I'm better, but not hubby!

I shouldn't laugh, because it's really not that funny. But for once, instead of the hubster giving ME something to be sick with, I apparently gave something to him, so it's good for a chuckle anyhow. He took today off despite not wanting to, because now he had a fever, upset tummy and headache (other than me, he jokes a little). So tonight was a mild pizza he can handle that will stay down and get something solid in him to help him get better. He'll be like me, fine tomorrow, for all our running around, but tonight, he's barely able to stay upright. So no outside work today, because I have to take care of the hubster.

And we'll have company for things tomorrow, because one of our friends from work, a fellow named JJ, is having issues at home. His wife of ten years, out of the blue, has filed for divorce. Poor guy is an emotional wreck, because it was just so unexpected. So poor fellow is going to be spending weekends up here with us, crashing on the couch, running errands with us and all so he can get out of the house, and up here, with all that's got to be done to clean it up, tear down the rest of the Merlot, and cut down and log trees for the woodpile, there is more than enough to give him things to help us with that will allow him to work off some energy by being what I like to call "constructively destructive." In other words, work off the pent-up energy and negativity, while accomplishing some good out of it.

So I'm off to find books and get some writing and knitting done (though I take the knitting with me on errands day and get a lot done in the van while we're running around - you wouldn't believe how much I can get done when I'm the passenger, lol). Hugs everybody, and please think some positive energy towards JJ. He needs it alot more than I do right now while waiting for my shift transfer.
